“Trust Us When We Tell” the name of the new Sophomore release Gunner’s Daughter has recorded in 2011 is the best full band work to date. The new songs definitely needed some punk rock injected into them and that was accomplished. The band as whole set out to create this release together and couldn't be more happier with the new songs that were created. The 5 song Ep will be Released on Death to False Hope Records August 2nd 2011 physically & online via major outlets iTunes, Amazon Etc.. Along with their previous 2010 effort “New Skeletons."

Gunner’s Daughter began playing music in 2008 that made sense to them, that had substance and would break down scene stereotypes. They began writing songs wanting to be that current band delivering music comprised of what they grew up on. They also wanted to give the younger generation a chance to become familiar with the bands that they are immediately influenced by like Hot Water Music, Samiam, Ann Berretta, Avail. Gunner’s Daughter are not breaking new ground or inventing a new sound, they are simply tipping their hats to the forefathers that paved the road before them.
